Can Safe Lists Work For You?

Can Safe Lists Work For You?

What is a safe list?

A safe list is members who have signed themselves up for membership of a safe list which means the emails received from them are safe.

The members who are in the safe list do not know the other members but can be assured that the mail from these members are safe and can be opened and read.

Business people tend to earn from them as you can send emails through the safe list to the various individuals.

There are numerous Safe List Membership sites out there and all with different degrees of membership but nearly all offer a free membership and you are automatically give credits to send out your first email after that you would need to upgrade your account or earn new credits to be able to send another email to the membership list. One credit usually means your email will be sent to 1 member so if you have 1000 credits then your email will be sent to 1000 members.

Do Safe Lists work?

It all depends on what you want to do with them if you are just list building then this can be a very easy way to build your list. If you are promoting a product then you will probably get very poor results unless you have made a real eyeopening email with a hard hitting subject line.

Paid for list or Free?

The advantages of paidfor membership are that you can email more often than a free member.

Free members can normally only email around once a week and that is if they have earned credits. So how are credits earned? Usually in two ways by paying for them or reading other members emails by reading emails you can earn between 520 credits and depending on the Safe List you are using this could be between 1550 emails per day if your getting 15 emails a day and are give 5 credits for each one then you should be earning at least 75 credits per day giving you 525 credits every week.

Now lets look at those 525 credits a week you will be able to send your email to 525 different members every week. Let us say you are trying to build a mailing list if your email is catchy and offers something free then you are liable to get a response of around 5 per week not a lot you might think? However there is nothing stopping you joining more than one Safe List you could join 4 and that way your response to emails would be around 20 a week 52 weeks a year and you will have built a list of 1040 not bad list building for something that is free! Of course the figures I have used are very low and chances are that you would get better results depending on the email you send out and how many lists you join.

With each list you would need to provide two email address one for the Admin to contact you and one for where emails from other members are sent.

When you join more than 3 or 4 safe lists you start to have problems remembering all the login information and passwords you have used not to mention the email addresses you have given and their passwords! This is where I recommend again the affiliate ID manager to manage all you logins and passwords I use mine all the time because it is simplicity in its self at just a click of a button your at you Safe List account ready to log in and all the details you need to login are shown by you affiliate ID manager.

You can still get this super piece of software FREE from HERE

If I was to recommended a Safe List then I would recommend ListJoe I have found it to be one of the best.

The Advantages Of A Few Elements In Your Poster

The Advantages Of A Few Elements In Your Poster

Posters just like any other marketing medium in your arsenal tell stories stories of your products and services if you are a business owner or ideas you want to convey to your target audience.

However although your story is so good it wont matter a hoot to anybody if you present it in a way that is confusing and its very hard to connect one idea from another. And if it goes on and on without getting to the ending fast it wont do you any good even if you use a lot of high technology graphics and equipment to come out with a great poster printing.

Clear design makes for an effective poster. And effective poster printing can only come from clear thinking and well thoughtof design and layout. So before you begin your poster printing project make sure you have all your elements aligned and pointing to one focal direction: a common idea that speaks well of your business.

And the most effective way to convey your idea is to make your poster printing design simple and direct to the point. What better way to do that than to provide a visual poster that is uncluttered using just a few of the elements to create something that is powerful.

Back to the basics

In every poster printing you must always remember that your poster is only effective if your target audience would be able to get your idea in a snap of looking at your print material. Anything that is more than 2 minutes and your message is lost in obscurity.

When you integrate many elements in your poster the usual reaction would be a kaleidoscope of images that would overwhelm the senses. Imagine subjecting yourself to looking at so many elements in just a small period of time. Its quite overwhelming isnt it? In fact its downright stressful.

Graphic designers know this for a fact. Your message would just be lost in all the confusion and clutter. Thus it is advisable to have only one or two or three elements in your poster printing design.

White Space

Creating white space is just one of the basic dos of poster printing design. When we say white space we dont mean it literally. In graphic design white space is any area in your poster that is not covered by any element. It directs the readers eyes to the components of your poster. So if you need any component to stand out from all the rest you have to create a white space surrounding that particular component.

Nevertheless too much is too much. You must also design your poster to just have enough white space. Too much would make your viewers eye bored; and too little provides confusion.

Font

Similarly your fonts should also be limited to three or even fewer. The most common fonts used in poster printing are Times New Roman and Arial. The former is widely used for text especially if its heavy content. While the latter is basically used for titles and labeling of figures and images.

Moreover using capital letters in your posters comes off as too aloof and cold. It is better to just use the standard way of writing in any ordinary document.

Color

Graphic designers use color to provide emphasis in poster printing. However you should also take into consideration the message that a certain color conveys. There are colors that send out a negative vibe among viewers. Be wary of using too much of those colors as you may have a disapproving audience in your hands.

Having all three elements in your poster printing project is enough to make your print poster an effective promotional material. The bottom line is to have all the three basics and provide unity and harmony among them in your poster.

Naming And Your Bottom Line

Naming And Your Bottom Line

Perhaps the question isnt whether you can afford to hire a naming professionalbut whether you can afford not to.

The threat of recession looms close some say weve already made the plunge and companies are studying the bottom line to see whats working in the marketing department and whats not. In times like these the temptation to take a doityourself approach to naming new products may be strong. Resist it. Now its more important than ever to have an evocative and unique brand name that lets your company or product break away from the cacophony of the marketplace. And it usually takes a professional naming specialist to get you there.

Is it possible to calculate the return on investment for hiring a naming expert to help create a great product name or company name? Using the traditional quantitative approach to ROI probably not. But if we apply more qualitative reasoning to the equation its clear that great brand names can return well past their initial expense. The internal naming contest may seem like a lowcost option but in this new ROI calculation the DIY approach has the potential for a much higher investment and not much of a return.

Unlike your internal naming contest a professional naming specialist will help you:

Avoid disasters

For starters hiring a naming specialist to do strategic naming can pay off in ensuring what the name wont be. A naming company would never allow Reebok to adopt a name like Incubus a male demon believed to have intercourse with sleeping women or Umbro to launch Zyklon a poison gas used by the Nazis at Auschwitz. In both cases all mention of the brand had to be removed and the product renamed while fielding terrible publicity.

Similarly working with a professional naming firm can help avoid other unquantifiable snags. Like choosing a name thats already in use by a competitor. Or a name thats awkward to pronounce in a key foreign market. A naming specialist with a solid understanding of trademark law and global linguistics screens name candidates to prevent these kinds of costly blunders.

Stand out in the crowd

Unique new product naming cuts through the clutter that consumers experience during the purchase process. A distinctive brand like Wii creates a huge buzz before it even launches. And the best part? The most effective names fulfill this role without massive advertising budgets behind them. So even when economic conditions force a reduction in expenditures a unique company name or product name will boost a brands visibility and lead to increased revenue.

Build longterm brand equity.

The better the name the better the return in longterm brand equity and customer loyalty. Trademarked brand names are among the most valuable assets of companies like CocaCola and Nike. Sure ROI on professional naming services is hard to tabulate: the investment happens in a matter of weeks or months while the return will grow over the life of the product. And even though a consumer decision is often made in a moment it can take yearseven decadesto build to that moment. Yet any calculation of goodwill on the balance sheet will give you perspective on the sizeable value of professional brand naming. Of course a great name isnt going to save a bad product and a bad name probably wont sink a really great product. But if a product can live up to its great name youre certain of a positive return on your investment in expert professional naming help.

So the next time someone in your company suggests an internal naming contest for your hot new product ask yourself: Can we really afford to do it that way? Maybe we should consult a professional
