3 Tactics To Help Boost Your Online Profits

3 Tactics To Help Boost Your Online Profits

Boosting online profits can seem like rocket science to some people. However there are 3 main profit boosting tactics that work to consistently increase profits if used correctly.

Tactic 1: THE “SCARE” TACTIC

Yes it’s possible to scare your potential customers into taking action. This is particularly useful if your topic relates to health money or love. I mean really who wants to be sick poor and alone? Hmm. . .I don’t see any hands raised. EXACTLY!

Fear can be your greatest salesman. Truly. Think about it. When the 9/11 tragedy rocked the nation how many jerks do you think made money from it? A LOT. It’s sad but true. They scared the crap out of people and sold them gas masks in case of a toxic gas epidemic. I think it’s disgusting myself but like people say someone has to shovel the shit.

And shovel it they did.

Not only them how about all the other bastards out there that made money by selling tshirts bumper stickers and all that other useless crap? Yeah maybe they gave a portion of their profits to the families affected but I can almost bet it was a very tiny fraction of their overall take.

Am I saying take such a devastating event and work it to your advantage? GOOD LORD NO! That IS completely unethical. What I’m saying is that you CAN use the fear factor to make people take action.

Say for instance you’re trying to make some money by selling an ebook about how to protect your computer from malicious viruses. Wouldn’t you want it more if you were selling it to yourself if you knew what kind of catastrophe could occur to your computer if you ignored such useful information? What if you ran your business from your computer and it went kaput on you? Wouldn’t you want to save yourself thousands of dollars just by spending twenty?

That’s the idea behind this dirty trick. Use your customers fears ethically of course and you can generate more profits.

Tactic 2: THE “CCL” TACTIC

Mmm. . .Bet you’re wondering what this one is huh? Well CCL in this particular instance stands for Could Care Less. And this tactic is one heck of a doozie!

Take The Rich Jerk for example. This is a classic case of CCL. On his sales page he tells you that he’s better than you are. He’s rich and you aren’t. Basically he’s a winner and you are a loser. But for a small fee he’s willing to share his techniques with you so you can become a winner too.

Aww how nice of him! Don’t you just feel better already?

He doesn’t stop there though because after you buy his “better than thou” strategy guide and if you have any questions HE WON’T ANSWER YOU. Or worse he’ll be a jerk. Hey. He gave you “fair warning” in advance though didn’t he? He told you he was a jerk! Ahh. Role playing at it’s finest. The world truly is but a stage.

The point here is that he’s made millions by not caring. He doesn’t care whether you buy his product or not because he knows that someone else will step in to take your place. It worked. He still made the money and he also created a HUGE buzz about his CCL tactic too. Heck he’s even got his own “infomercial” now!

You can do the same thing. You don’t have to be that extreme if you don’t want to. Why not try easing into this little trick by letting your customers know that if they decide not to buy your product then it will be their loss and not yours. Hey you’ve already got unlimited access to it so it’s no skin off your nose.

This “jerky” tactic works so well in fact that there are dozens of “spinoff” products springing up every single day. You don’t have to be a total jerk but acting like you don’t give a damn whether someone buys your product or not can pay off for you.

Tactic3: THE “NO PRICE” TACTIC

Ever been to a place that sells products without an actual price tag on them? I don’t mean a mistake but something that purposely doesn’t have a price listed somewhere. It always reminds me of “If You Have To Ask How Much It Costs Then You Can’t Afford It Anyway”. Not so of all products.

The reality is that if your product generates enough positive interest then your customers will click the order link just to see how much it costs. And if it’s something that offers just the solution they’re looking for they’ll pay for it.

This tactic can have either a positive or negative effect depending on how much your product is going for. If it’s something that is less than your customer thinks it’s worth they’ll fork over the dough. If not well they’ll have to think it over first. Maybe they’ll buy. Maybe they won’t. But at least they’re giving it thought.

Not to worry though. Sometimes it takes more than seven times for a person to actually purchase a product they really want. Leaving the price of your product a mystery can generate enough curiosity to lead to an otherwise fruitless sale.

I recommend use of this dirty trick only if your particular product has a high selling success rate.

These three tactics can become your most valuable conversion asset if you apply them correctly.

Use them ethically and in good form and you will profit for years to come.

Plot
The story begins in Pamplona Spain in 1976. The Basque people are fighting against Spain for their rights to free speech and cultural independence. While people are distracted with bulls let loose in the town during a fight the famous Jaime Mir a member of the Basque terrorist group ETA sneaks into the Pamplona prison disguised as a priest and escapes with two of his fellow terrorists Ricardo Mellado and Felix Carpio.
The Prime Minister assigns Colonel Ram Acoca head of the antiETA group GOE to find and kill Jaime Mir. Acoca has his own reasons for killing the terrorists; he vowed revenge after his wife and unborn child were killed in a Basque demonstration years before.
The Cistercian Convent of the Strict Observance had been running just outside of a town called ila since 1601 one of seven left in Spain after the Civil War had destroyed hundreds of them. The nuns know nothing of the outside world; in their discipline they eat little pray at least eight times a day flagellate whip themselves at least once a week and carry out their assigned tasks. Lucia leads the nuns through the countryside to a safe convent planning to steal the gold cross pawn it and get money and a fake passport to go to Switzerland and get her money.
Colonel Acoca is furious; he has figured out that four of the nuns are missing and is convinced that Jaime Mir escaped before the soldiers got there. The Prime Minister doubts that he was there in the first place and believes that Acoca is starting to get out of control but continues to have the Colonel search for both Mir and the missing nuns.
The four nuns meet up with a man who calls himself Friar Carrillo who brings them to a store so they can change. He takes Graciela away from the other nuns for a minute and begins to rape her but the other nuns intervene tying up Carrillo who was a wanted murderer posing as a Friar to steal from the monasteries in his travels. New Business Design: All You Need To Know To Start

New Business Design: All You Need To Know To Start Trading In Style

So you’ve decided to set up a new business the idea is good the bank has given you the green light and everything is looking peachy. Wait a minute haven’t you forgotton something? Yes thats right your trousers! With all that excitement you clean forgot to put any on this morning. Anything else you air brained fool? Yes 5 points there at the back what you need above all else is an unforgettable look to knock the competition dead.

Step 1: The Logo Design
What are the things to look out for when thinking about your new business logo design? Well we could bore you to tears on the subject or we could just get right in there and divulge the secrets every successful company has learnt at some stage about good logo design. What? you want to hear the long boring answer? All right we’ll save the secret to a successful logo design for another tutorial then. The first thing you need to do is establish your market its no good trying to be all things to all men it can’t be done. Lets say we are aiming at pretty young girls and thats not a bad market to try and tap. Go for something pink and frilly and your halfway home. Alternatively for boys you might want to pick a blue fat typeface. For a corporate market you’d be a twat to move far away from greys blues and reds.

Top Tip: Letterspacing increase the spacing between each letter to a ridiculously large amount. This will then give a standard typeface such as ariel a new dignified gravitas that speaks volumes about your cutting edge new business design.

Step 2: The Business Stationary Design
The holy trinity in the designers canon. Your business card your letterhead and not forgetting wee little compliment slip hiding away behind his big A4 size wise cracking brother. It’s imperative for every new business to order far more business stationary than they can ever hope to use. Typical figures for example might be a thousand double sided matt laminated business cards. You’ll be impressed with the quality and feel for approximatly one week. Copiously handing them out at soirees and meet and greets before filing the remainder away in a drawer never to be seen again. As for letterhead and compliment slips why not plumb for another couple of thousand print run with maybe an embossed logo to impress any blind friends you might have? Key design concepts are to try and make them in some way different from the billions of other designs that have gone before.

Top Tip: Try to avoid using large blocks of flat colour on letterheads and compliment slips. 9 times out of 10 the inks will start to fade on the print run and its going to look a bit shoddy.

Step 3: The Presentation Folder or Brochure Design
Now we’re cooking on gas. We’ve established a profound daring yet ultimately affectionate corporate logo design. We’ve taken the plunge and ordered well in excess of a quarter of a million business cards sexy. Now comes the pinnacle of our design excitement. The corporate or if you prefer laid back brochure or folder design. Opinion is divided on what constitutes the best visual plan of attack on this matter. Some opt for the meat and potatoes style A4 brochure design. It’s not particularly clever or innovative but only the most limited retard could fail to work out what your meant to do with it i.e. turn the pages from right to left and look at the pages pausing occasionally to read any words or look at pictures. Others are more inclined to go down the less tried and tested folder and inserts route scary! Just remember to make it look nice rather than ugly and you’ll not go too far wrong

Top Tip: Don’t allow anyone to persuade you into going for a tailored die cut folder design. It’s incredibly difficult for printers to get anything right and you’re begging for trouble. Remember K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid.

Step 4: The Website Design
Up until now we’ve been keeping our heads down and getting on very nicely thankyou very much. that’s all about to end. Enter the world of website design. On paper it sounds easy enough transfer what you’ve produced in your company brochure design up there on the old gogglebox. An easy mistake to make what you haven’t taken into account is that web design was introduced to the world less by design more by some kind of nerd magic. To get anywhere near close to producing something that looks ok on paper onto a screen takes the kind of patience and understanding not normally found in your typical right thinking human being. Suffice to say you can only have your website based on a three column grid and no you can’t have it in your company colours you’ll have it in grey or nothing alright?.

Top Tip: Please don’t ask for a drop down menu. It looks fairly simple to do and your competitors all have them but we still can’t get it working right and god knows we’ve tried god knows we’ve tried…

If that hasn’t inspired confidence and given you the incentive to give up already then there maybe some hope for you. Just remember design isn’t rocket science although technically speaking the rocket did have to be designed at some stage so blah blah blah etc. etc…
