Font
Similarly your fonts should also be limited to three or even fewer. The most common fonts used in poster printing are Times New Roman and Arial. The former is widely used for text especially if its heavy content. While the latter is basically used for titles and labeling of figures and images.
Moreover using capital letters in your posters comes off as too aloof and cold. It is better to just use the standard way of writing in any ordinary document.
Color
Graphic designers use color to provide emphasis in poster printing. However you should also take into consideration the message that a certain color conveys. There are colors that send out a negative vibe among viewers. Be wary of using too much of those colors as you may have a disapproving audience in your hands.
Having all three elements in your poster printing project is enough to make your print poster an effective promotional material. The bottom line is to have all the three basics and provide unity and harmony among them in your poster.
